R.C. is a blend of essential oils formulated to help us cope with the symptoms of colds, allergies, sinusitis, sore throat,
coughs, respiratory congestion, and flu.  It has been known to be helpful with cold sores and bone spurs when applied topically.   R.C. contains:     -  Eucalyptus globulus contains eucalyptol a key ingredient in many antiseptic mouthwashes which may help reduce infections in the throat and lungs     -  Eucalyptus radiata has shown strong action against sinusitis and bronchitis.     -  Eucalyptus australiana helps the body fight off bacteria, viruses, and fungi.     -  Eucalyptus citriodora may help decongest sinuses and lungs.     -  Myrtle supports the respiratory system and helps with chronic coughs.     -  Pine has been used traditionally to open and support the respiratory system.     -  Spruce helps the respiratory and nervous systems.     -  Marjoram supports the respiratory system; helps the body deal with spasms.     -  Lavender helps the body deal with inflammation, spasms, and infection.     -  Cypress helps promote blood and lymph flow.     -  Peppermint has been studied for its ability to help with digestion, cooling the body, helping with fevers, and improved concentration and mental accuracy.   Suggested applications:   I diffuse RC or use it in a humidifier.  To clear sinuses, I put a couple of drops of RC in a bowl of steaming hot water, put a towel over ones head and inhale deeply.   I apply to my chest, neck, around ears, and bottoms of my feet.  I use as RC a hot compress.   I put on my pillow at night (I tried this on the dogs bed one night when he had a bit of a respiratory problem.  He was not thrilled with the scent on his bed and spent quite a lot of time rolling around to replace it with his own.  However, his breathing improved!)   I massage 1 drop over the sinus cavities on my face (I do this at bedtime as my eyes water if I get it too close to them.)  For a stuffy nose, I put a drop on a cotton swab and rub inside nostrils.  And my favorite open the bottle, hold it under my nose, and inhale deeply!   R.C. can be alternated effectively with Thieves and Raven.   For more information email Nancy Cebula or call her at 303.499.1607.
